Star Trek: Julia
My mind often feels like an episode of Star Trek; different characters, archetypes, and voices working together, disagreeing, committing mutiny, acting heroically, logically, emotionally, thrown together on the adventure to navigate the best and worst of life.
This ongoing series began as a cheeky coping mechanism to deal with the grueling process of querying literary agents for one of my novels, as well as dealing with the political strife of 2025. Every character is replaced with different images of myself, and the colors of the original scene altered significantly to create a strong sense of both surrealism and playfulness.
In addition to selling originals, I am open to commissions for paintings of other people using the same concept. If you're interested in commissioning a piece, please contact me with your chosen episode, and we'll get started. Contact
